All Ears

You just gotta love a Papillon, they don't call them "butterfly dogs" for nothin!  This is another take on "Gizmo".

Nick

Nick is a rescue dog.  He is a great example of what can happen when a "bad" dog is placed in circumstances more appropriate for their temperament.  With considerable expertise from his human, channeling all that intensity has been rewarding for all.

It may still be cold but it's bloom time for the dogwood and as for the geese, our resident pair have already hatched a fuzzy, yellow chick.  Mom is still sitting so there must be more eggs.  Meanwhile, dad is taking his parenting duties very seriously..... nobody is gettin' near that gosling!

Just because I've been gone so long, I'm posting 2 today.  I cracked myself up when I realized that this was the purrfect title for this little painting.....heh, heh.   I'm easily amused! 

Silly

This is one munchkin who was very excited to go sketching at the zoo last weekend during an Earth Day celebration.  He was young enough not to ask, "what are we supposed to do?" just grabbed that pencil and went for it!  I'm not sure why we seem to pummel all the self motivation out of kids once they start school, but there were plenty that were willing to play. I even enticed a few brave adults, it actually makes me want to teach a sketching workshop. Hope this makes you smile!  )

Dancing Queen

I went for a walk with a friend and her grand kids yesterday.  It was freezing.... a good day to dance!  Today it snowed, no April fooling!
