What's an Artbyte?

I just published a new Artbyte at DailyPaintWorks!   "An ArtByte is a bite-sized, affordable art tutorial. They are online, immediately available, and cover everything from techniques, materials, demos, marketing, technology and creativity.  Some ArtBytes are free and others range in price from $5-30 each."
My Artbyte is about the Artist in Residence program in the National Parks and it's FREE!  It's intended to make you aware of this incredible creative opportunity in our parks.  It explains how to find and apply for an AIR position and it tells you a bit about my own experiences, with plenty of images!
Click on the Artbyte widget on the right sidebar to go to DPW then click on "Art Tutorials".... I hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think!

As someone who has taken advantage of the National Parks Artist in Residence program, I highly recommend it to anyone interested. My NPS Artist in Residence was in Acadia National Park in Maine. Wonderful people there, and they have a really big program. Usually there are two to three artists there at a time. Beautiful area, and wonderful painting opportunities. Take advantage of it! One of the other artists in Acadia while I was there did a residency at the Hubble Trading Post National Historic Site on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. She really enjoyed that setting also.

Thanks Elaine, clearly I'm not the only one who thinks the AIR program is pretty special!
