Vanitas

Vanitas is a still-life painting from the 17th-century Dutch genre containing symbols of death or change as a reminder of their inevitability.  I call it Edge of the Mystery.  I think it's a valuable exercise to contemplate death.  Conversely, today is a gift, go out and play!
