Since I seem to be so slow at getting paintings to post, here is another sample of one of my sketchbook pages. This page demonstrates what I call "photo-collage" where you start with a photo and then expand on it with paint. It's great fun to do and especially to introduce to people who claim that they can't (draw, paint, do art etc. etc.) Yes, you can..... you may not want to, but you certainly are capable, everyone is. No excuses, get out, go sketching. :-}

Sketchbook page

Sketchbooks
I'm working on an upcoming class that I'm teaching on field sketching and this is a pile of just a few of the books I've filled over the years. It's always fun to go back through them for the vivid memories they bring up. These web logs are a modern version of sketchbooks for many people.
